Brrrr

Paul & I have held off turning on the upstairs heat so far. We have the heater on downstairs as needed and bundle up in warm jammies and blankets at night. But, this morning it was down to 63 degrees up there. Noah said "BRRRR!!!! It's a good thing I'm wearing my long underwear"

He doesn't have long underwear and not even sure how he knows what they are, but it cracked me up. And prompted me to turn on the heat, finally. If he was cold in his fleece PJ's and chamois blanket, it's too cold.

I love it cold!! It's between 66 and 64 degrees at night here in the house. I always feel bad for Amelia in the morning though - She puts her robe back on over her clothes until she goes to school :)

Oh really?! I told Paul we probably couldn't keep it that cold since Olivia has her thermoregulation issues. You'll love it here then. We normally let it get down pretty low at night.

She actually is easier to keep warm than to cool down, if that makes sense. They told us to keep the house warm when we brought her home, but we found at night she ended up getting very sweaty.

She often gets overheated in the summer. We couldn't go out very often and if we did we had to take ice water with us and a cloth and wet her down periodically. She would get really sweaty at night because she didn't move and her heat just built up in one spot.

Now she moves more at night, but not a lot. So we just kept it very cool at night and then bundle her up in something warm. Usually it works out pretty well.

By the way, it really touches me that you thought of Olivia and adjusting how you do things to help her. That means a lot to me. Especially because if Paul is like Rafe, he can't sleep unless it's cold.
