OK, weigh in blog readers. Do you think it's time to cut off this shaggy curly-q do? I know we have a lot more readers, than commenters, but please let me know what you think. I am one of those moms that cries at the first haircut. I love baby hair. I especially love the curls. But, at a minimum the bangs are getting too long. When it's humid and tight the curls are precious. If only it were humid outside!
Lately it's more Bozo the Clown or Flock of Seagulls when he wakes up with bedhead.
I am thinking it's time to schedule an appointment.....

This is a tough one! What does Paul think? I decided both boys here would have first haircuts on the first birthdays--it made it easier to just have a tradition to go with. But, oh it's so hard!
Paul is deferring to me on this one. I think I'll get a trim, but instead of the kids place, take him to the lady who cuts my hair. I don't want a big boy haircut. I want it to still look like baby-hair.
E has more hair than Alyssa and she is two! Thus I have to go with "it is time for a hair cut."
I love his curls! i vote for no but only because i'm dreading getting charlie's hair cut.
I think that when you start to get "She's a really pretty baby" comments, it's time to cut the hair.
Paul it's his pretty blue eyes that make people think he's a girl. It has nothing to do with his luxuriously silky curly long locks ;)
On a separate note, maybe stopping at 2 boys is a bad idea. Clearly, if we ever had a daughter she would have amazing hair.
Hmmmmm...sorry Mandy, only my boy had amazing curls so don't bet on that one!!!
I 110% regreted cutting Dylan's curls off...even though people thought he was a girl! BUT no matter what you decide, those eyes will still be to die for!!
As his grandma I have some clout (or at least I imagine) NOOOOOOO! Only a bang trim for now. I know the curls will eventually go but I'm not ready. If people think he's a girl, just tell them..no he's is just an exceptionally cute boy!
Sorry Mandy, Uncle Steve says go with a high and tight and give him the boy look. If you can pull it up in a ponytail, even a pebbles fountain top one, it is too long.
I'm taking him in for a trim Saturday at 2pm. We WILL leave with our curls in tact. Pictures to follow :)
