Pearly Whites

Noah had a dentist appointment today. I was nervous because although he did good last time I posted about it, there was another one that I didn't post about. Last time we went, he was filled with anxiety about the whole situation. He not only was scared of the "tickle toothbrush", he wouldn't even let them in to clean with a regular one. All we got out of it was the dentist inspecting his teeth confirming no cavities. I tried to prepare him, but didn't make a big deal of it. He did great! I could tell he had on his "brave face" and was a bit nervous, but he didn't let on. He picked raspberry toothpaste and strawberry fluoride foam. No cavities!

No Cavities!

Noah got a clean bill of dental health at the dentist today. Although this wasn't his first visit (he went earlier this summer), it was his first teeth cleaning. The first visit is just to get them comfortable and the dentist only looks over/feels/counts teeth. Our dentist is a pediatrict dentist that everyone in our area goes to and he's great with kids. Noah did very well. He didn't open up and say "AHHH!", but they managed to get their job done. He got a Diego toothbrush, an elmo sticker, diego sticker and 2 spiderman stickers for his good behavior. His favorite part was the exotic fishtank in the lobby. He didn't want to leave.

Like the nerdy mom I am, of course, I had to break out the camera and document this milestone.
